Programs & Partnerships are vital to our organization. We have built strong relationships with local organizations. Fostering partnerships within the local community is essential when assisting and providing support. Our leaders spearhead operations to assess the overall capacity and resources that address our local community’s vulnerabilities. Augusta Xi Chapter strives to promote and support Kappa Epsilon Psi’s programs to advocate and improve the community’s quality of life. We accomplish this by assisting with program services and advocacy.
This program provides care packages to deployed Sorors. We take donations from Sorors for small items to send a little care package to each Soror we have deployed each month as a Sorority. This program’s goal will be to ensure that every deployed Soror receives a Rose from the Sorority each month.
The goal is to develop newly initiated Sorors further as they embark on a NEW DAWN (new beginning) of Kappa Epsilon Psi members. New Initiates within week four (4) of the Pearl Process and newly initiated Sorors with less than six months of membership will be automatically assigned a Mentor for one (1) year to continue membership education and development.
The purpose of the New Dawn Rose Mentorship (Sister2Sister) Program is vital to foster an environment to excel at all things. All new members will become aware of the level of excellence and participation they must maintain.
The mentorship program’s objective is to encourage Sorors to grow personally and professionally, increasing leadership capabilities to promote a learning environment that will encourage Sorors to embrace responsibility for protecting the Sorority and Elite Professional Etiquette.
The intent of the New Dawn Rose (Sister2Sister) Mentorship Program is:
• To develop active members of the organization.
• To enhance sorority education.
• To provide a communication link between the chapter and the new Soror.
• To provide a role model for behavior, one-on-one relationships, and socialization.
• To establish a positive, informal avenue for accountability.
Annually we endeavor to send our community's most significant asset back to school the right way by hosting an annual backpack and school supply drive. To donate backpacks or school supplies, please contact Augusta Xi Mission & Philanthropy (M&P) Committee via the button below.
Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, Sorors from Augusta Xi remember and honor veterans by participating in the annual wreath-laying ceremony at Bellevue Memorial Garden, 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown, GA 30813.
This year we will be helping to remember and honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes in December at noon. The exact date will be announced at a later date. You can assist us by sponsoring a wreath, volunteering, or inviting friends to help; please click the link below.
